Senior Project Manager (m/w)

With substantial project experience and proven professional competence in project and service management.

Job Description:

• Analysis and description of requirements and the delivery targets to be met. Various solutions deriving from these reports will then be constructed in relation to functionality, quality and economic feasibility and these will then be presented to the client for his approval.
• Responsibility for the content , deadlines, costs and quality orientated planning and leading of projects within the framework of Itartis procedural methodology AIPD (Adaptive Iterative Portal Development)
• Coordinative, communicative and task focused leadership of the project teams incl. troubleshooting and solving potential conflicts
• Definition and organisation of the required project infrastructure in cooperation with the internal delivery manager
• Ongoing monitoring , control and documentation of project planning (delivery results, deadlines, costs/resources and risks)
• Regular task and project reporting to the customer and the head of projects (delivery results, deadlines, costs/resources) ,as well as periodic reporting to the Project Steering Committee (PSC)
• Preparation and application of project decisions, approval of project milestones and the carrying out of Quality Gates
• Joint responsibility (on-going development of team coaching and guarantee of quality) for the Itartis process model AIPD
• Preparation of operational, change and service management processes in collaboration with the operations team or with the delivery manager
• Support in the acquisition (pre-sales, offer and contract process) of new clients and projects
• Joint responsibility for the generation of the yearly project turnover budget

Job Specification:

• Business management education (UNI, FH)
• Education and training in the Project Management environment (i. e. Certificate IPMA Level C or B)
• 2-3 years of practical experience leading small and middle sized projects
• 4-5 years of experience in solutions orientated consulting for clients
• Profound experience in the recording and documentation of client requirements (status senior to expert)
• Experience in the deployment and coordination of third parties (particularly work banks)
• Process management experience is desirable (from BPEL, BPNM or other)
• (Legal) Basic knowledge of contract law is desirable
• Highly developed sense of responsibility
• Independent and structured method of working
• Good verbal skills and enjoy conceptual working
• High level of commitment and motivation
• Team building capabilities
• Willingness to carry out ongoing training
• Spoken and written German and English
