Junior Project Manager (m/w)

Junior Project Manager (m/w)

With initial project experience and proven professional competence in project and service management.

Job Description:

  • Analysis and description of requirements and delivery targets to be met. Various solutions deriving from these reports will then be constructed in relation to functionality, quality and economic feasibility and will then be presented to the client for his approval.
  • Responsibility for the content , deadlines, costs and quality orientated planning and leading of independent partial projects or smaller projects within the framework of Itartis procedural methodology AIPD (Adaptive Iterative Portal Development)
  • Coordinative, communicative and task focused leadership of the project team incl. troubleshooting and solving potential conflicts
  • Definition and organisation of the required project infrastructure in cooperation with the internal delivery manager
  • Ongoing monitoring , control and documentation of project planning (delivery results, deadlines, costs/resources and risks)
  • Regular task and project reporting to supervisors, the customer and the head of projects (delivery results, deadlines, costs/resources) ,as well as periodic reporting to the Project Steering Committee (PSC)
  • Preparation and application of project decisions, approval of project milestones and the carrying out of Quality Gates
  • Preparation of operational, change and service management processes in collaboration with the operations team or with the delivery manager
  • Support in the acquisition (pre-sales, offer and contract process) of new clients and projects


Job Specification:

  • Business management education (UNI, FH)
  • 2-3 years of practical experience leading small and middle sized projects
  • 2-3 years of experience in solutions orientated consulting for clients
  • Profound experience in the recording and documentation of client requirements
  • Education and training in the Project Management environment is an advantage (i. e. Certificate IPMA Level D or C)
  • Process management experience is an advantage (from BPEL, BPNM or other)
  • Experience in the deployment and coordination of third parties (particularly work banks) are an advantage
  • (Legal) Basic knowledge of contract law is an advantage
  • Highly developed sense of responsibility
  • Independent and structured method of working
  • Good verbal skills and enjoys conceptual working
  • High level of commitment and motivation
  • Team player
  • Willingness to carry out ongoing training
  • Spoken and written German and English
