Itartis hold their ground in the top 500…

According to Computerworld ICT companies had to struggle bravely through 2009, as dark clouds covered the horizon during the year. The world economy seemed to be at tipping point – the 500 ICT companies with the highest turnover levels however appear to have survived the crisis, some with bigger and some with smaller damage. Their were many losers in this situation, however there were a few companies amongst the winners who grew inorganically – meaning by the purchasing of other companies.

According to an ICT business activity questionnaire amongst the top 500 companies, almost 75% beleive that a light upturn will take place within the coming twelve months.Particularly interesting therefore is the comparison with the previous years. Those questioned are much more optimistic than 2 years ago. It should be emphasised that the crisis has been the trigger for the consequent interlocking of business and IT.
